Every once in a while a  person passes through our life who is a natural leader.  Frank Quinn was such a person.  From the pilot's point of view, Frank was the finest Chief Pilot we ever had.  He never aspired to leave NYC so he ran things his own way.  The result were that 90% of the pilots in the base would have flown on their day off if Frank asked them.    It was always a two way street.  His fight west a short while ago saddened us all.   ED
