The Viscount

I was priviledged to be a co-pilot on the Vicount during the last 6 months the airplane flew.  We were able to fly props VFR in those days. Captain Bill Brown and I flew what I believe was the last trip out of Newark for two days, VFR.  It was a pleasure to fly with Bill,  Jack Hill, and Bill Bickert.  Newark was much closer to my home in NJ but 6 months dealing with that EWR flight office made me very happy to go back to the friendly atmosphere of JFK.   It was like day and night.  I never flew out of EWR as a domicile again.  Ed
